Pilates is an invigorating form of exercise for your mind and body that can improve your strength, flexibility and overall mobility. It helps restore your body to balance.

As a result, your posture will change, and you will move more efficiently. You will achieve a strong core and back, and improve your overall sense of wellbeing. If you are a sports enthusiast, Pilates can help improve your game.

Once you try Pilates, you will be left with such an overall sense of wellbeing, you will wonder why you did not begin your practice earlier!

Personal Training

My Pilates Cornwall offers private & personal Pilates sessions for rehabilitation strength conditioning and sports training.

The benefits of personal training are many. Having a plan written specifically for your posture type, aligment, assessing your strengths and weaknesses, balancing them, strengthening weaknesses, achieving your goals.

Results are guaranteed, but its not going to be easy! In addition to your sessions, you will be provided with additional exercises to perform at home to maximise the benefits, plus a Nutritional guide to follow.

We respect your goals, and are here to see you achieve them.

Private Daytime Sessions can be booked as private 1:1, semi private 2:1 sessions or small group sessions with a maximum of 4 clients sharing the hour.

Understanding that the body moves effectively when in balance, you will gain strength, alignment, pure state of balance & alignment in your body.

How to get there from where you are now?

Starting with your anatomy, your musculature & fascial structure to ensure you are stretching the facilitated muscles and working the inhibited ones in your training.

During your 1 hour assessment, you will gain a deeper understanding of your body, the way it compensates, how your job may be assisting your imbalances and what you can do about it, how training for core strength & stability is vital but also training to reduce synergistic dominance for reducing back pain and overall strength.

You will be guided through your assessment in warm, confidential surroundings. Once your posture is assed, treatment to release the facilitated muscles will take place on my treatment couch starting with Sacral Decompression, its like an MOT for your body, when was the last time you had one of those?
